Niecy Nash and Her Daughters Dia and Donielle Pose in Beautiful Prom Dresses in Throwback Photos
The “Claws” star has two daughters that have inherited her passion for performing, and the proud mother can’t resist from pointing out how much of herself she sees in them.
50-year-old comedian, actress, and TV personality Niecy Nash is so proud of her daughters Dia and Donielle, and she recently found another occasion to gush about them on social media.

Following Instagram’s “Throwback Thursday,” Niecy shared pictures from her prom and those of her daughters’ displayed side to side with each other, and she was quick to point out how much they took from her, captioning the post:
“They got it from mama!”
The proud mother’s fans reacted by confirming what Niecy suggested in the post, with one of them going as far as telling her, “I thought these were all three, you.”
TWINNING WITH HER DAUGHTER
This is far from the first time when Niecy has been compared to her daughters, especially Dia, who has been described as a copy of Niecy’s younger self.
On plenty of opportunities, Dia has also taken inspiration on her mother’s fashion style, which has made the resemblance between the two only more evident. Some times, they have worn matching outfits in public events or photoshoots.
PROUD MOTHER
Just as Dia and Donielle have inherited their mother’s look, the two sisters are also multitalented as Niecy, if not more, and the star can’t be more proud, often praising her daughters publicly.
“She writes. She acts. AND my funny child sings!” Niecy wrote back in June about her daughter Donielle, captioning a video that showcases the young woman’s gifted voice.
FOLLOWING HER STEPS
Both Dia and Donielle have shown interest and talent as actresses, and they are pursuing careers in the industry, already accumulating credits in their IMDb profiles.
Donielle has made appearances in TV series like “The Soul Man” (2016), “Modern Family” (2017), and “Superstore” (2018).
Dia debuted in 2004 with a small role in the TV series “Reno 911.” After a long time away from acting, she returned in 2018 with a role in her mother’s series “Claws.”
