Closer Weekly reported that the actress made a virtual appearance on Andy Cohen's "Watch What Happens Live" where she confessed that she and Kurt watched their 1987 movie, "Overboard," together in bed.
Goldie revealed that the secret to their long-lasting relationship was that they knew when, and, when not to, depend on somebody while staying as sexy as they possibly could.
While stating that they didn't plan to watch the movie that night, he 74-year-old actress excitedly shared that the trip down memory lane was better than she imagined.
She told Andy that she and Kurt had forgotten what they had initially planned to do and ended up watching the movie, which happened to be on TV during bedtime.
Although the couple starred in other movies like, "The One and Only," "Swing Shift," "Original Family Band," "The Christmas Chronicles," and "Genuine," fans will always remember them for "Overboard."
Vanity Fair recounted that Goldie played the role of an heiress who hired Dean [played by Kurt], who is a carpenter, to install shelves in her yacht.
During their time together, Goldie's character, Annie, walked around in a one-piece thong bathing suit and referred to him as not being "housebroken."
Even after he finished his task on the yacht, Annie refused to pay him for his craftsmanship. Annie's day of reckoning soon came after she fell off the yacht one night, got amnesia, and ended up in a mental ward.
When Dean set his eyes on a picture of her on TV, he made his move for revenge by convincing her that he is her husband. Even though the film's start wasn't as impressive as critics expected, Kurt and Goldie's involvement made it a fan-favorite.
The couple, who first met on the set of "The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band," seem to have something that many other relationships lack – both off-screen and on-screen.
According to The Oprah Magazine, Goldie revealed that the secret to their long-lasting relationship was that they knew when, and, when not to, depend on somebody while staying as sexy as they possibly could.
