Pregnant Ciara Dedicates Emotional Message to Son Future after George Floyd Case

A pregnant Ciara dedicated a heartfelt message to her son as she shared her hope in finding justice for George Floyd, who died as a result of police brutality.

The death of George Floyd on May 25, 2020, has gotten a response from many celebrities, including Ciara. In a heartfelt message to her son, Future Zahir Wilburn, about the challenges of police brutality, she wrote:

"My sweet Baby Boy. I pray that when you get older A CHANGE will finally have come!! I'm going to keep my FAITH!"

As Ciara expressed her support for change, she added, "I'm praying that the losses of our Black Kings and Queens won't be in vain. Enough is Enough! I'm praying for UNITY!"

Along with her touching dedication, she shared a selfie of herself and Future. Her husband, Russell Wilson, commented on the post saying, "young King. We need a change now. Enough is Enough."

While many people praised Ciara for her bold message, others couldn't help showing some love to Future in the adorable snap. "I love your glasses, little man," said one person about his stylish accessory.

One fan admitted that Future was making her wish she has a son. A fan also commented, "pretty mama and her baby!" Another person complimented the 6-year-old's new hairstyle.

Future used to have long hair, and Ciara said she had been braiding it amid quarantine. She revealed that styling hair was a career she could have pursued had it not been for her music.

At the end of April, she debuted her son's new look, as Future flaunted a fresh buzz cut and posed in a jersey for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Only days ago, Ciara celebrated Future's birthday. The couple did their quarantine party in style and decorated their backyard with balloons and a large sign that spelled his name. In a birthday message to her son, Ciara said:

"Counting The Blessings. Grateful for Joy. Good ol Quarantine Obstacle Course and In Door Camping Birthday for The Birthday Boy."

She and Russell are expecting their second child together. The couple shared their gender reveals with their fans and used confetti guns to make the announcement.

After blue powder and confetti filled the air, Ciara excitedly confirmed to Future and her daughter, Sienna, that they were expecting a boy.
