Craig Melvin's Wife Lindsay Czarniak Is All Smiles with Their 2 Kids in Adorable Photos

Building a family while succeeding professionally is a common obstacle for any couple. But it has not been that way for Craig Melvin and Lindsay Czarniak, who have managed well both their lives as reporters and parents.

A very touching photo was recently posted by sports reporter, Lindsay Czarniak, on her Instagram this week. Her two kids, which she shares with her husband, Craig Melvin, appear playing around at the beach.

Moved by the times we are living around the world with the pandemic and social strikes against government issues, the journalist shared this adorable image of her children to take a stand on what happens in the world these days. She captioned the picture:

“They don’t fully understand yet the importance of what’s going on in our world right now but they will someday very soon.”

MOM AND SPORTS

As we can see through her social media, Lindsay is a very loving and caring mom. She has been managing both her jobs, as a mother and a reporter so that none interferes with the other. She is also a funny mother as well.

Before joining ESPN as a SportsCenter anchor in 2011, she worked at NBC’s WRC-TV, for six years. After leaving ESPN in 2017, and having spent so many years on the business, she decided to take some time apart from work and spend more time with her two kids.

However, that same year Czarniak was sent to host the Special Olympic World Winter Games in Austria. She felt it would be too long to stay away from the kids, so she decided to take her little children and prepared to travel and work with them. According to an interview at the time, she joked that “prayer [and] some meditation” were her essentials for the trip.

Lindsay is a sports anchor and reporter. After working with big networks such an NBC, ESPN, and CNN among others, today she leads her own podcast called “Players”, in which she interviews outstanding sports players with an intimate look. She is also the daughter of the managing editor of USAtoday.com.

THE COUPLE

News anchor, Craig Melvin, and Lindsay met each other in 2008 at NBC, while he was working as an anchor and she was coming back from covering the Beijing Olympics for the network. They started dating right away but it took a while before their fellow workers knew about it.

They got married in DC in 2011, and after three years they welcomed their first child, a son named Delano. Two and a half years later, in 2016, they had their second child, a lovely daughter, named Sybil "Sibby" Ann. A name used by her older brother for her before she was born.

After being a Saturday morning Today co-host, Craig later became a Today’s morning weekdays anchor, and a reporter and anchor on MSNBC. Previously, he has also worked as an NBC4 anchor. Today, Lindsay and Craig are successful reporters who have managed to balance their professional and personal lives, and have a beautiful family.
