The couple marked 15 years of wedded bliss in March and it’s a union that celebrates interracial differences as well as the melding of faiths.

Aside from excelling in their respective fields, they are also philanthropists who established a foundation in Bangladesh.

Followers of “Married to Medicine” are well aware that Mariah is of African American descent while her husband is from Bangladesh. This also makes them different in terms of the way they were raised. Mariah grew up a Christian while her husband is a Muslim.

In spite of this, they managed to build a strong foundation for their family. The couple has two children, daughter Lauren and son, Ethan who are familiar with both their parents’ cultures.

A photo of their beautiful family graced Mariah’s Instagram recently as they celebrated the Juneteenth holiday. They would have been a family-of-six if Mariah didn’t suffer a miscarriage in 2014. She was carrying twins.

The celebrity couple originally planned an anniversary trip. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they canceled so Aydin could help out in the hospital as a frontliner in the emergency room. Mariah was fully supportive.

Through “Married to Medicine” which Mariah created and executive produces, fans got to meet this amazing power couple. Aside from excelling in their respective fields, they are also philanthropists who established a foundation in Bangladesh.

As of April, it was unclear if Mariah is returning to the show. She left after two seasons but returned on the 4th. Now entering the eight season, Mariah is uncertain if she’ll still be a part of the show. She revealed in a post that she has yet to receive her contract. We wonder what her former BFF, Quad Webb would say about this.
