Gloria Govan Hugs Her Father & Husband in New Photos & Honors Them with Sweet Tributes

Gloria Govan is full of love and praise for her father, Michael. The "Basketball Wives" star gushed over her dad in a sweet Instagram post, calling him her "main squeeze."

Gloria Govan melted her fans' hearts with a photo of herself with her dad as she celebrated Father's Day and dedicated a sweet message to him.

"I smile because you're my dad. I laugh because there is nothing you can do about it."

DAD APPRECIATION

After gushing over her father in the loving post, Govan posted another sweet picture of herself and her husband, Derek Fisher, calling him her "king."

She shared how seeing Fisher being a great dad to their kids makes her love him even more. "Thank you for your faith, support, and love," she concluded.

Govan and Fisher started dating in 2015. Soon, the couple got engaged in their Los Angeles home and according to reports, Fisher planned a romantic surprise for his fiancée that day.

Before she met Fisher, the "Basketball Wives" star was married to Fisher's ex-Lakers' teammate Matt Barnes. The couple had a rocky relationship but Govan always insisted that things were okay between them.

Barnes said that being on a reality series was what contributed to the issues in his and his ex-wife's relationship

HER ROCKY PAST

In 2010, Barnes called off their wedding, proving that their relationship was not as strong as Govan said it was. She and the basketballer split up for a couple of months before reconciling.

The duo walked down the aisle in 2013, but their marriage was not destined to last. It ended in divorce with a bitter custody battle over their twin sons.

Later on, Barnes discovered that Govan and Fisher were dating and things got really ugly between the two men. They have rarely spoken about it since then.

In an interview with "Vlad TV," Barnes said that being on a reality series was what contributed to the issues in his and his ex-wife's relationship.

According to him, being on the show was not healthy for his family. He claimed that they never wanted to see him and his family happy and only wanted them to fight.
