David & Tamela Mann's Only Son David Jr Shares Touching Tribute to His Dad on Father's Day

David Mann's son recently took to Instagram, where he shared a photo of himself with his father while also penning a sweet Father's Day tribute.

During the Father's Day celebration, which happened last Sunday, David Mann's only son, David Jr., took time out to dedicate a sweet note to his father. Taking to Instagram, David Jr. shared a photo of himself rocking a tuxedo as he posed alongside his father, who also donned a suit.

The adorable picture highlighted the striking resemblance between the father and son duo, who were captured looking away from the camera.

While sharing the image, David Jr. penned a heartfelt tribute to his father, whom he described as his hero and best friend. He wrote,

"Happy Father’s Day to my best friend my hero my counselor my advisor my pastor lol my helper my leader my life coach my boss ....."

The touching post stirred up reactions from fans and followers who quickly took to the comment section to leave their comments.

David Mann Sr. is best known for his role on the 2009 TBS sitcom, "Meet The Browns," and he is currently married to Tamela Mann with whom he shares David Jnr and daughter, Tia Mann.

In addition to the couple's kids together, David Snr. is also father to two daughters, Porcia Mann and Tiffany Mann, whom he welcomed from a previous relationship.

Although David Snr. and his wife has enjoyed a successful marriage for over three decades, Tamela reportedly admitted that her husband's baby mama drama was initially a problem and almost brought their marriage to an end.

Over time, Tamela, who is an award-winning gospel singer, has experienced struggles with her weight, but presently, she is on the path to a healthier lifestyle.

In April 2019, Tamela took to Instagram, where she announced that she was joining the Weight Watchers(WW) community as an ambassador.

According to her, she decided to lose weight and live healthier, not only for herself but also for her family. Barely five months after her announcement, Tamela revealed that the fitness program was changing her life while adding that she had lost 40 pounds at the time.

In addition to the "Weight Watchers" fitness program, Tamela also reportedly revealed that her weight loss journey was encouraged by her husband, who provided her with great support.

Tamela and her husband first met in the '80s when Tamela's best friend at the time invited her to watch David perform with his former music group. The two then forged a friendship before they started dating and eventually got married in 1988.
