Nikki Bella Shares an Update with Fans Regarding Her Mom Kathy's Recent Brain Surgery (Video)

Some good news has come out from the Bella twins this week. Nikki Bella gave an update on her mother, Kathy Colace Laurinaitis’s health after having brain surgery.

Taking to her Instagram account, Nikki, 36, shared with her fans, in a recording, that her mother’s brain surgery on Tuesday had been “very successful.” She explained why the procedure had taken so long, revealing how the doctors had wanted to make sure they removed the whole mass.

In her post’s caption, the “Total Bellas” reality star thanked her fans for the support and prayers. She confessed that she couldn’t wait for Laurinaitis to see all the messages and know how much her fans loved her.

ASKING FOR PRAYERS

She continued her post noting: “Now prayers for her recovery!” The star also thanked the surgeons who operated on her mother for looking after her so well.

Nikki admitted that she was “Feeling very blessed and grateful right now” and was “relieved and happy.” She shared that her mother was still in ICU and would remain there for a few days.

FAMILY SUPPORTED BY STEPDAD

The reality star noted how she couldn’t wait to “squeeze” her mother and give her a “really big hug and kiss!” Laurinaitis’ daughter also shared her gratitude with her stepfather, John Laurinaitis, for being there for her mother and their family.

LAURINAITIS IS IN RECOVERY

Nikki’s twin sister, Brie also gave the same update on her Instagram Story. She revealed how thankful she was that their mother was now in recovery.

ANNOUNCING KATHY’S DIAGNOSIS

Before the surgery happened, the twins took to their respective Instagram accounts to share their mother’s diagnosis and ask for prayer. They shared at the time that Laurinaitis found a growth on her brain stem that could be compared to a tumor.

NEEDING SURGERY

The mass was removed partly because it was causing paralysis to her face. The twin’s reality show premiered in 2016, and their mother has featured several times since.
