How Twins Tia and Tamera Mowry Celebrated Their Birthday and Paid Tribute to One Another
'Sister, Sister' stars Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry celebrated their 42nd birthday with adorable throwback photos and heartfelt reflections on the bond they share.
Tia and Tamera Mowry from "Sister, Sister" have been forced to celebrate their 42nd birthday separately amid the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Despite the circumstances, they both paid tribute to each other with heartfelt posts. Tamera shared a throwback photo from a photoshoot and admitted that she couldn't wait to hug her sister again.
Tia was also feeling nostalgic and posted a montage of photos of them posing together throughout the years. The final picture showed the proud moms standing with their sons.
In her heartfelt tribute, Tia said she felt it was a blessing to have enjoyed so many first experiences with Tamera. Together the sisters signed their first television show, won their first "Nickelodeon Kids Choice" Awards, and graduated college as a duo.
Following the tribute to her sister, Tamera also shared snaps of herself exploring her gorgeous garden. As she looked to the future, she wrote:
"42…The year of reflection, positive change, and Godfidence; knowing that God and the angels are guiding me through it all."
Tamera's husband, Adam Housley, shared a video of the couple enjoying a pool party with their neighbors. They ate pizza cooked from a wood fire oven along with food prepared by their guests.
Adam also shared a video of Tamera's dark and white chocolate layered birthday cake. In his message, the doting husband teased Tamera about her age and joked that she was turning 30 next year.
Tia and her husband, Cory Hardrict, didn't share the details of their celebrations on social media. Although Cory posted photos of his beautiful wife along with a sweet message, which he wrote:
"Happy birthday baby I love you couldn't live life without you! It's a Queen Bday show her some love."

appeared to have the picture-perfect bond. Although, in reality, they have had their fair share of ups and downs while growing.
According to Oprah Magazine, Tamera admitted that she and Tia did not always get along. She revealed that they went for therapy to help work through their difference. The actress said it helped them improve their relationship.
