Simone Biles Confirms Split from Boyfriend Stacey Ervin Jr after 3 Years – What Happened?
Four-time Olympic champion, Simone Biles, confirms that her three-year relationship with former national-team gymnast Stacey Ervin Jr. has ended in her cover girl interview for Vogue magazine.

While talking about her journey towards being an exceptional gymnast and the causes dear to her heart, she processed the split from her ex-boyfriend, Ervin.
On [Stacey Ervin Jr.'s] birthday last October, Simone had shared a heartfelt message to him on her Instagram. While praising his passionate and selfless traits, she described him as "a true gentleman."
She admitted to the outlet that the almost 3-year long relationship ended in March before she traveled to New York, saying:
"It’s hard being young and having that long of a relationship and then ending it. But it was for the best."
As reported by Madamnoire, before Biles's admission, there were speculations about a possible split when she didn't get a social media shout-out from Stacey on her birthday in March.
Suspicions also increased when she unfollowed him on Instagram and deleted all the pictures of him on her page, including those from their baecation at Disney World.
Before this, the former lovebirds enviably showed each other off on their social media pages with adorable messages since they started dating in 2017.
Black America web recalls that on the former gymnast's birthday last October, Simone had shared a heartfelt message to him on her Instagram. While praising his passionate and selfless traits, she described him as "a true gentleman."
According to Daily Mail, that same month, when she appeared on Today to celebrate her gold medal win in Stuttgart, Germany, she gushed about his overwhelming support and encouragement.
The 26-year-old on his part had reportedly posted a video of him watching her on T.V and cheering on as she completed her gold medal-winning routine.
He also shared a photo of her alongside a caption where he called her his woman and ended the sweet write up with a congratulatory note telling her how much he is proud of her.
CNN shares that it was that win that consolidated the 23-year-old's position as the most decorated gymnast in the world outperforming Belarusian Vitaly Scherbo's who competed in the 1990s and had a career total of 23.
