Marie Osmond Recalls Son Michael's Death 10 Years Ago While Discussing the Loss of Benjamin Keough
Marie Osmond got emotional as she joined the other women of "The Talk" in extending condolences toward Lisa Marie Presley. Osmond shared a very similar loss 10 years ago with her son, Michael.
On Monday, Marie Osmond broke down in tears while speaking with her co-hosts about the tragic death of Lisa Marie Presley's son, Benjamin Keough, who took his life on Sunday.
Osmond, 60, went through the same loss when her son Michael died in 2010 at 18. Benjamin was 27 years old when he passed in California, leaving behind his mom and two siblings.

OSMOND TEARS UP TALKING ABOUT BENJAMIN KEOUGH
"It's very close to home for me," explained Osmond. She apologized for her teary comments but fought through it. When I heard the news, sorry, I just sat back, and I relived it all again."
The singer went on to say that she "knows exactly what [Presley] is going through. That realization, especially for Lisa – I mean, it's her baby, her boy, you know. And I know the grieving she has to be going through."
With care, she advised that persons going through similar experiences should also keep in mind their family. Based on Presley's statement, Osmond determined that the mourning mother looking out for her other children.
Presley is also mother to 31-year-old Riley Keough from her first marriage, and 11-year-old twins Harper Vivienne and Finley Aaron, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Michael Lockwood.
Osmond ended the segment by sharing words of comfort with the family before co-host Eve also added her condolences. Osmond has several other children in addition to her late son.
OSMOND ALSO FACING FRIEND'S HEALTH BATTLE
The country superstar is mom to Stephen Craig, Rachel Krueger, Jessica Osmond, Brandon Blosil, Brianna Schwep, Matthew Blosil, and Abigail Blosil. She's currently married to husband, Steve Craig.
In addition to sharing Presley's pain, Osmond is also dealing with a health situation that close friend, Brynna, is going through. Brynna recently learned she has several tumors near her brainstem.
Osmond quickly took to social media to ask her fans to send prayers for Brynna, who was told she has three months to live after the discovery. She underwent surgery for biopsy and was able to walk soon after.
OSMOND REMEMBERS LATE SON ON HIS BIRTHDAY
In early May, Osmond commemorated her late son with a tributary post on what would have been his 29th birthday. She posted a throwback photo that showed her and Michael when he was a toddler.
The singer called the boy her "angel son." In the past, Osmond has opened up about Michael being bullied and his substance use. Our condolences to her and Presley.
