Zaya Wade Posts Pictures She Took of Her Beautiful Step-Mom Gabrielle Union When She Was 12

Dwyane Wade, the retired sports star, has a teenage daughter, Zaya Wade, 13, who seems interested in photography. Recently, she shared images of Gabrielle Union taken by her when she was 12.

Wade and Union are parents to Kaavia Union-Wade, a daughter they welcomed via surrogacy a year ago. While Kaavia is their only child, Wade has three other kids from previous relationships.

However, his actress wife, Union, has adopted a blended family, which makes it easier for her to relate with her husband's kids. Zaya, one of Wade's kids, currently lives with the couple, and they appear to be the best parents that she could ask for.

Zaya bonds well with her stepmom and her recent post showed that the ladies spend some excellent time connecting.

The uploads featured throwback shots of the actress from last year, which was taken by her stepdaughter. Union appeared in several outfits that showed her breathtaking.

The teenager's update also displayed passion and creativeness as the shots were nicely taken and possibly edited. Under it, Zaya wrote:

"Back when I was 12. Slight work @selfmagazine 1st cover."

While Union has a special connection with the 13-year-old, her dad is equally her biggest fan and does not hesitate to gush on her online.

In May, when she turned 13, the celebrant was treated to a medieval photo shoot that featured her dad and stepmom. Photos from the birthday celebration looked graceful and stylish at the same time.

Zaya was born as Zion, but recently she embraced her urge to transition.

Everyone had their hands on deck in looking truly medieval. In the posts, the former sports star donned a body-hugging long sleeve shirt on a black skirt. He dyed his hair orange and completed his look with a waist bag and a black colored sunglasses.

Union opted for a colorful medieval-themed dress, while the day's star was dressed to the nines. She rocked a queenly lavender ponytail. Zaya was all burst of colors with her outfit, from her yellow and black bottom to the black corset, and green jacket.

Both parents celebrated her individually via their social media pages; their messages showed that they are in awe and love their child unconditionally, which truly makes them stronger together as a unit.

Apart from having a talent in photography, Zaya is also a brave and confident young chap. Her birth name was Zion, and she was identified as a male until she recently chose to embrace her true self.

In February, the then 12-year-old declared her gender and advised others that might be struggling with the transition process.

She also revealed that she won't allow others' judgment to affect her personality, but would focus on loving and being her best self.

This has been an easy choice for the teenager so far, especially since she has the support and love of her family.
