La La Anthony Shares Still Picture with Jacob Latimore on 'The Chi,' Teasing Fans about the Next Episode
La La Anthony gave her fans a teaser of the highly anticipated upcoming episode of 'The Chi' and shared photos from a scene featuring herself and Jacob Latimore.
After starring on "Power" for six seasons, La La Anthony's time on the small screen wasn't over yet. She quickly landed the role of Dominique "Dom" Morris on the hit show, "The Chi."
She plays a chef who is passionate about cultural cuisine and is determined to advance her business and give Chicago a taste of all her delicious dishes.
It is reported, La La had approached the show's creator Lena Waithe several times to be on the show before Lena finally came up with a character that she knew would be perfect for La La to play.
La La told BET that Dom is unlike any other character she had played before. The actress said her character embodies the kind of life that many women around the world are trying to balance today.
Recently, La La gave a sneak peek of the latest episode with still photos from an upcoming episode of "The Chi." In her caption, she teased, "what's Dom up to in the next episode...Dom & Emmett better chill out! This next episode heats up."
In the photo, La La is busy at work in the kitchen. In a second snap, she appeared to be engaged in a flirty exchange with Emmett Washington, who is played by Jacob Latimore.
One fan could see the inevitable sexual tension building in their flirty exchange and commented, "no lala no hook up with him pls. He is cute but chill."
Another person also shared their disapproval about that characters possibly hooking up and said, "no no no no please I hope the writers don't make y'all hook up." A user praised the show and quoted one of Dom's infamous lines.

Although Dom is a skilled chef, La La admitted to Essence that she is not as passionate about cooking, La La
"I'm not much of a cook. I'm probably the worst cook. Breakfast is the only thing I can kind of do."
La La told Essence that during some of her earlier episodes on the show, the crew was quick to point out that she was holding the knives wrong and also pointed out other mistakes she was making.
The actress said playing Dom has improved her skills in the kitchen and it has inspired her to learn more about cooking.
