Ciara and Russell Wilson took to Instagram on Friday to share the big news: they welcomed their second child, a boy they named Win Harrison Wilson, and they couldn’t be happier.

Wilson shared a selfie from the hospital smiling next to Ciara, who had the newborn sleeping against her chest, and captioned it:

“Happy Birthday, WIN!!! Mommy & Daddy Love You! Win Harrison Wilson. 7.23.2020 8lbs 1 oz.”

Ciara, on the other hand, shared an adorable video taken in the delivery room, which shows her holding the newborn as she sings him the happy birthday song at her husband’s request.

“Happy birthday, sunshine!” she told Win before commenting that the boy is doing okay despite being quiet. She also revealed she hadn’t been able to see his face yet, but the nurses reassured her saying the baby is “so cute.”

The “Level Up” singer first announced her third pregnancy back in January, when she posted a pic on Instagram showing off her growing baby bump while posing in a bikini at a Turks & Caicos beach.

Since then, Ciara has been keeping fans updated, constantly sharing stunning pics throughout her pregnancy. She also revealed to Vogue UK that it was challenging going through a pregnancy in the middle of a pandemic.

She explained that, as a preventive measure, Wilson wasn’t able to be in the room during her ultrasounds, which was a reflection of the times we’re living through.

“We women carry the baby, but for my husband, being in the room and listening to the heartbeat in real-time is one of his ways of connecting,” she explained.

Talking to Joel McHale a few weeks ago, Wilson shared his fear of not being able to be present during the delivery of his second child. He explained that when Ciara gave birth to 3-year-old Sienna Princess, he was there with her, and she almost broke his hand.

Win Harrison also has a big brother, 6-year-old Future Zahir, whom Ciara shares with rapper Future Wilburn, her ex-fiancé.

Congratulations to the couple on their new bundle of joy!
