'Pioneer Woman' Ree Drummond's Daughter Alex Is Engaged at 23 — inside Her Fiancé Mauricio's Intimate Proposal

"The Pioneer Woman" star Ree Drummond's daughter Alex is waiting for someone to "pinch" her after she became engaged to the "sweetest picture of God's goodness" on Sunday.

The cookbook author just knows that her 23-year-old daughter Alex and now fiancé, Mauricio Scott, will "have so much fun" on their road ahead, as she marked the special occasion on social media.

FOREVER FOR ALEX AND MAURICIO

Even though Alex floated in a state of blissful shock, she also took to social media to share the happy news with her followers. Alongside a slideshow of pictures capturing Mauricio's proposal, Alex wrote:

"Mauricio Scott is the sweetest picture of God’s goodness and provision. And I get to spend FOREVER with him!! I love you, fiancé!"

THEY CELEBRATED THE SPECIAL DAY

After the 23-year-old slid the beautiful ring on Alex's finger, they celebrated their new relationship status with friends and family.

During a night of love, laugh, and champagne shared between loved ones, they could commemorate the celebration by posing for pictures in front of a flowered wall that read "The Scott's."

Alex is the oldest and one of four kids Ree shares with her husband Ladd. The couple also have another daughter Paige, and two sons named Todd and Bryce, and they've all grown and left the house, leaving the cookbook author and her husband empty nesters.

However, during the novel coronavirus pandemic, Ree got to spend quality time with her kids on their Oklahoma ranch when quarantine set in. "The Pioneer Woman" star also stepped out of the comfort zone of the kitchen, with a delightfully surprising result.

Daughters Alex and Paige made sure to forever the moment as mom Ree debuted alongside them in a TikTok video dancing to Megan Thee Stallion's song "Savage." Even though she and a green bell pepper made a special appearance, the Food Network star still shined like a diamond.

Ree Drummond and her husband Ladd's marriage is going on twenty-five years, and the couple still hugs and joke around like they tied the knot a month ago.
