Check Out This Throwback Photo of Ice-T and Wife Coco Austin at a Club before the COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 social distancing measures have been enforced for nearly four months but for some people, it has felt like an eternity and the rapper is looking at his pre-pandemic life like something from the distant past.

62-year-old rapper and actor Ice-T had a very active nightlife with his wife of 15 years, 41-year-old model Coco Austin, and now that public gatherings are limited, he is missing all that fun.

The “Law & Order: SVU” star recently took to his Instagram account to share a picture of one of his night outs with Austin from pre-COVID-19 times, and reflected on how long the quarantine has felt for him.

“When pics like this pop up now… I’m like, ‘Yeah, I remember clubs…" Ice-T joked in the caption to a photo of him and his wife sitting together in the corner of what we can safely assume is a nightclub.

Ice-T also called the time when the picture was taken “The good ole days,” and we are sure that he is not the only one out there dreaming of them.

DAUGHTER CHANEL

But it wasn’t all just partying for the husband and wife back when going out was still a thing, given that Ice-T and Austin share 4-year-old daughter Chanel Marrow, who, despite looking very much like her father, likes to play her mother’s “mini-me.”

Being a model, fashion comes naturally for Austin, and one of the things she enjoys doing the most with her little daughter is playing dress up and wearing matching outfits, as she often shares in social media.

Last year, in February, while on a family holiday trip to Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic, Austin’s fans fell in love with Chanel’s look as the mother and daughter duo rocked matching swimsuits and sunglasses at the paradisiac destination.

Later, to celebrate 2019’s 4th of July, Austin and Chanel posed together from a swimming pool in the Bahamas wearing matching stars-and-stripes swimsuits, complete with sunglasses and matching headbands. The two looked adorable together.

BREASTFEEDING CRITICISM

Austin is clearly very attached to her little daughter, so much that she has continued to breastfeed Chanel even though she is already 4, a practice encouraged by some and criticized by others.

The model and mother is very open about her support of extended breastfeeding which has proved to be controversial. She is no stranger to critics aiming at her in the comments section of her social media posts related to the subject.

But despite the harsh criticism she has received by vocal adversaries of this practice, Austin has repeatedly defended her decision and she is confident that other mothers out there appreciate the example she is giving.
