Former "Dancing With The Stars" star Julianne Hough looks incredibly beautiful in a new selfie on her Instagram after her split from her husband, former NHL player, Brooks Laich.

"Dancing With The Stars'" Julianne Hough is not letting her spirit get dimmed by the recent divorce from former professional ice hockey player, Brooks Laich. The dancer recently shared a stunning selfie of herself on Instagram with a simple caption that read: "Happy ☀️"

In the selfie, Hough puckered her lips for a typical selfie look, showing off her brown and blonde highlighted locks that fell to her shoulder, while flaunting her blazing baby blue eyes.

Hough was wearing a gray top that was barely visible in the close-up selfie. The blonde beauty looked absolutely stunning and visibly unbothered by any of the recent events in her life.

The former "Dancing With The Stars" alum's selfie post came just two weeks after Laich reportedly gushed over their wedding, which took place in 2017 on his podcast, "How Men Think."

In the podcast, Laich spoke about several couples who had to postpone their weddings due to the pandemic. He reflected on his wedding and remembered it as the greatest time of his life, which he wanted everyone else to experience.

The post also came weeks after Hough celebrated her 32nd birthday in style with the help of some of her friends, including Laich and her longtime friend, actress Nina Dobrev.

Hough's birthday was on July 20, and the day was spent hanging out with her friends, enjoying the food, donning flower crowns, and splashing around in a pool party.

Laich and Hough seemed amiable in the party, which was documented on Dobrev's Story. They have also been spotted sharing friendly interactions on social media since their public split.

A source close to Hough exclusively told PEOPLE that the two were hoping to move forward as friends who would always be supportive and encouraging to one another. The source added:

"She is a deeply different person than she was when they got married, and she is proud of those differences and changes she's made, and she doesn't want to go back."

The news outlet also spoke to a source close to Laich, who said that the former NHL player was ready to work things out because he was finding it hard to let go of their 3-year marriage.

Back in April before their split in May, Hough revealed that she found out that she enjoyed her space while being in quarantine separately from Laich, who was in Idaho while she was in California.

Their split came roughly a month after that, but it seems like the former dancer is still enjoying the thrill of being in her own space and connecting with herself while looking extra stunning.
