Kimora Lee Simmons' Daughter Aoki Celebrates Her 18th – Inside Her Special Day & Messages from Family

Kimora Lee Simmons' youngest daughter celebrated her 18th with a touching tribute from her family. The teenager enjoyed a lavish Latin American getaway with her family at a resort.

Only a year ago, Kimora Lee Simmons shared her excitement as she revealed that her youngest daughter, Aoki Lee Simmons, had been accepted into Harvard University.

Recently, Aoki had another reason to celebrate when she turned 18. In a post on her birthday, she wrote, "Red Alert! This is your warning...I'm legal baby."

In a touching tribute, her mother, Kimora celebrated the milestone gushing over Aoki and referring to the teenager as her "baby girl."

The model shared how proud she was of her daughter and expressed her lasting love for her Aoki. She also posted videos from their luxurious birthday trip to Latin America.

Kimora shared a video of Aoki enjoying a gorgeous fireworks display that lit up the sky over their resort. She was dressed in a backless gown and she sipped from a champagne glass.

In a second photo, Aoki posed in a white pleated dress as a Mariachi band played behind her. The teenager looked stunning as she held up a single red rose in her hand. Aoki also shared photos of herself on her Instagram story enjoying a drink poolside.

Russell Simmons posted a photo of Aoki practicing a yoga pose as she stood on the staircase of their holiday home. In a heartfelt message to his daughter, the mogul wrote:

"You are not only a superwoman but a balanced superhuman being...meant to change the world as your imagination dictates."

Big sister, Ming Lee Simmons, who had also joined her family on the trip, honored Aoki with an adorable throwback photo of the pair dressed as angels. In her caption, Ming gushed:

"18 years ago an angel was born that angel is out there somewhere in the world. You're a legal adult now don't do anything stupid. I love you so much."

In March, Aoki's dreams of studying at Harvard University were put on hold after the school announced that it was canceling most classes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to BET, Aoki shared photos of herself packing her room. The teenager joked that before she headed back home, her days were going to be filled with packing and partying.

Now that she's 18 years old let us hope she follows Ming's advice and doesn't get into too much trouble while waiting for the campus to reopen.
