Years ago, after leaving the entertainment industry, Ross remained open to the idea of his children becoming actors. He shared:

“I’m not sure I’d want my children in the entertainment business without first getting a good education. [...]  I’d be there to guide my kids if ever it happened."

A WONDERFUL HUSBAND

Ross is also a loving and dedicated husband, who tied the knot with Jackie on December 15, 1992, in Las Vegas.

In his 26th wedding anniversary post, the former actor shared that he exchanged vows “knowing her [Jackie] less than two months.”

LIFE AFTER “DIFF’RENT STROKES”

Ross gained popularity in the hit television show “Diff’rent Strokes,” where he gave life to Dudley Johnson, and later appeared in over 30 more on-screen productions.

However, he left the industry after three decades and became a non-denominational pastor who pursued a bachelor’s degree in psychology. His new career goal came as he lived out Christianity more, wanting to know “how the mind and the spirit work together.”
