FOREVER INKED IN DAD'S ARMS
The "Outbreak" star shared her husband's photo, Kyle Bosworth's, tattoo of McCoy's footprints. The tribute was made even more special as their son's ashes were added into the ink, to be forever embedded in his dad's arm.
Kara revealed her grieving process, which sometimes involves opening a box she made to commemorate her son. She wrote:
"Other days, I unpack that box late at night when laying in your daddy's arms, where your ashes are tattooed on his skin in the shape of your perfect feet."
DESCRIBING WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN
The "Real Housewives of Orange County" star's daughter added what could have been for his son had he not passed -- a five-month-old baby sleeping in a cute onesie while playing with his mom's necklace while feeding.
A few weeks since his passing, Kara and Kyle revealed that McCoy's ashes were taken to their home as they continue to grieve for their son.
McCoy would have also tried to sit up on his own, if not crawl on the floor and impress his parents with every small and significant milestone. She ended her post by encouraging those who are in the same situation, "don't waste perfectly good grief."
MCCOY'S FIRST MONTH
Kara also honored her son during his supposed one month birthday by citing the different things they would have done, including buying new clothes and shoes.
The actress is also a mom to her daughter, Decker, whom she said would have been a sweet and caring big sister to McCoy.
In the months succeeding his death, Kara remembered her son in the smallest and biggest things and often mentioned him in her posts.
MCCOY'S PASSING
Kara gave birth to an adorable little boy five months ago, in the comfort of her home. Initially, she and her husband wanted to have their son at a hospital, but the circumstances with the pandemic did not permit.
Sadly, McCoy died after birth as he experienced "shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord." His parents decided to donate his organs and tissues to other children to honor their late son.
