Busy Philipps Shares Heartfelt Birthday Message for Her Bestie Michelle Williams

Busy Philipps shared throwback photos alongside a touching tribute dedicated to her best friend, Michelle Williams, who recently turned 40.

Michelle Williams recently turned 40, and she was met with warm wishes from loved ones, including her best friend, actress Busy Philipps.

In a post shared on Philipps' Instagram page, the actress shared candid throwback photos of herself with Williams. The images showed the two women in a bathroom as they primped their hair.

The post also featured a photo of Williams as an adorable little girl. Philipps accompanied the snapshot with a lengthy heartwarming birthday tribute.

In her tribute, Philipps noted that she loves the candid pictures of them in the post because it sums up who they really are. She added:

"We met 20 years ago, which makes no sense because we're still 27."

Philipps then continued by lamenting over how she wished to celebrate Williams in person but could not. She, however, noted that she took comfort in the fact that they will still have many other birthdays together.

Writing further, Philipps envisioned what the future would be like for her and Williams and imagined them as older women shopping at farmer's markets.

Williams sent her friend a funny cardboard cutout of herself.

Philipps' recent birthday tribute comes as no surprise as the two stars are known to share a special bond. Over the years, they have spared no words in letting the world know what they mean to each other.

In 2016, Philipps reportedly described Williams as the love of her life and maintained that a person's soulmate does not have to be a man.

Apart from sharing endearing words, the best friends have also proved to be a great support system for each other on several occasions.

In January 2018, Philipps posted a picture of herself comforting Williams on the death anniversary of her ex-fiance, Heath Ledger, who passed away in 2008.

Later that year, Philipps had sinus surgery, and as an extension of goodwill, Williams sent her friend a funny cardboard cutout of herself.

Earlier this year, Philipps was also sure to support Williams, who received a Golden Globe nomination for best actress in a limited series or TV film for her role in the 2019 mini-series "Fosse/Verdon."

With their undying love for each other and what seems like a lifetime of commitment, there is no doubt that this amazing friendship will remain till the end of time.
