SHE WAS ADOPTED AS AN INFANT
Hill was born in 1967 in Ridgeland, Mississippi, north of Jackson, Mississippi. Only days after being born, Hill was adopted and named Audrey Faith Perry. The country superstar often said that she was blessed to be taken into such a loving home.
SHE IS ALSO AN ACTRESS
Hill's film debut came when she was chosen to star in the 2004 science fiction dark comedy film, "The Stepford Wives," along with Matthew Broderick, Nicole Kidman, and Glenn Close.
In the 2002 war film directed by Randall Wallace titled "We Were Soldiers," Hill won the role of Mel Gibson's wife. However, she decided to give the role to actress Madeline Stowe.
SHE IS HAPPILY MARRIED
Ever since meeting in 1994, Hill and McGraw have been quite the model couple. The couple shares three children together, Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey. They support each others' careers in the music industry.
HILL'S OTHER RELATIONSHIPS
It's tough to imagine Hill married to anyone other than McGraw. However, once upon a time, Hill was married to another man — Daniel Hill. The singer was also once engaged to record producer Scott Hendricks.
HILL'S EARLIEST SCENT MEMORIES
"I think my earliest scent memory would be Johnson & Johnson's Baby Powder," she told Glamour in 2012. "It reminds me of my childhood home, being in Mississippi, and growing up."
HER FAVORITE FOOD
Hill revealed to Glamour that she and her husband McGraw generally have the same taste for food. The power couple grew up with Southern cuisine.
The "There You'll Be" singer shared: "Tim is part Italian, so his favorite type of food is Italian. Mine would be Mexican—especially chile Rellenos!"
SHE DOESN'T WANT TO SPOIL HER CHILDREN
Hill and her husband don't give Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey extravagant presents. The two are adamant that their daughters are not spoiled growing up.
Hill explained that she grew up asking for everything, but she knew she was not going to get it all. The superstar added that she and McGraw make sure that their girls realize that as well.
