Late singer and songwriter Nickolas Ashford's first daughter, Nicole Ashford stuns fans with a gorgeous photo of her having a great time at the beach in flattering swimwear.

Late songwriter Nickolas Ashford's daughter, Nicole recently took to her Instagram page to show off her stunning physique while having a great time on the beach. She captioned the image:

"Wish you were here! #enjoylife #lovethyself."

Nicole looked fabulous in an all-black swimsuit with a plunging v-shaped neckline and skinny straps that allowed her to show off more skin. She lay on a lounge chair on the white sandy beach with the beautiful blue ocean behind her as well as other beachgoers all around her.

She wore her hair in vibrant red curls that were pulled to the top of her head while she accessorized with a pair of black sunglasses to complete her beach look.

Nicole's fans were impressed with how gorgeous and radiant she looked in her photos and left kind words and compliments for her in the comments section of the cute post.

Months after he passed away, Simpson opened up to the Chicago Tribune about how different their lives were after his passing.

Nicole is the daughter of one of pop music's most iconic and most successful duos and one of pop music's favorite couples, Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson, more popularly known as Ashford and Simpson.

On August 22, 2011, Nicole's father, Ashford, passed away at the age of 70, shocking the entire music industry and the world beyond. The Motown hitmaker had reportedly been in a prolonged battle with throat cancer before he eventually passed away.

The singer's family was struck with grief as they struggled to come to terms with his unexpected passing. Months after he passed away, Simpson opened up to the Chicago Tribune about how different their lives were after his passing.

The mother of two admitted that she and their kids were able to get by knowing that the music they made together was everlasting. Songwriting was the cornerstone of their long-time partnership and their relationship.

Nicole's parents shared a love like never before for decades until Ashford died. They met when they were very young. Simpson was 17 at the time while Ashford was 21 years old.

Both had no idea then that they would go on to be a power couple and one of the best music-making duos ever. Together they not only made great music, but they also had two beautiful daughters, Nicole, and her sister, Asia.
