Fans Concerned about Wendy Williams' Recent Behavior on Her Talk Show — See the Reactions
TV personality Wendy Williams has been attracting a lot of attention lately for her unusual behavior during her show and some fans took to social media to point it out.
During the October 23 episode of “The Wendy Williams Show,” 56-year-old host, Wendy Williams behaved erratically, losing focus in the middle of her conversations and getting obsessed with the Shoe Cam music.
Apart from that, she unwrapped a hard candy and put it back down, stood up in the middle of a sentence just to show off her outfit, and stopped talking while her producer, Norman Baker, tried to keep the conversation going.

TWITTER USERS ON WENDY WILLIAMS’ BEHAVIOR
As soon as her fans noticed her erratic behavior, they took to Twitter to share their thoughts on it. A netizen wrote that the people who let Williams go on air for that episode should be fired.
Another person labeled the TV personality a “train wreck,” adding that they felt Williams was having “a mental breakdown.”
One Twitter user wondered if Williams was “high or something” because she “seems off.” While the talk-show host received a lot of criticism online, some people defended her, too.
Twitter user Jennifer Arroyo asked the public to stop assuming Williams was high or drunk and remember that Williams has Graves’ disease which can affect her cognitively.
Williams’ former DJ, DJ Boof made headlines soon after her October 23 episode went on air. On Instagram, a person suggested that Boof left the show because Williams doesn’t listen to her staff.
The DJ confirmed it, adding that people had “no idea what’s really going on.” He said that her staff was afraid to speak up because they didn’t want to lose their jobs.

WENDY WILLIAMS’ FAINTING
It is important to point out that it is not the first time that Williams behaved erratically during her show. Back in 2017, she dressed up as the Statue of Liberty for a Halloween episode.
Unfortunately, she started feeling uneasy at the 48-minute mark. The talk-show host explained that she tried to push through, but things got hotter and she started feeling dizzy.
The situation worsened in the blink of an eye and she collapsed. Some people believed it was a joke; others thought she was having a stroke. Williams herself explained what happened in her show:
“The costume got hot. All the sudden right before passing out, I felt like I was in the middle of a campfire” [sic].
Apart from that, she revealed in 2019 that she was getting treatment at a sober living residential facility for addiction to alcohol and prescription drugs.
Williams opened up about it weeks after taking a two-month hiatus from her show to get treatment for some health issues caused by Graves’ disease.
