Danielle Brooks Shows Look-Alike Daughter Freeya Celebrating Her 1st Birthday in a Cute Outfit

"Orange Is The New Black" actress Danielle Brooks took to her Instagram page to post pictures of her adorable baby daughter Freeya, who celebrated her first birthday.

Danielle Brooks' adorable look-alike daughter Freeya celebrated her 1st birthday on Monday, and the proud mom did not hold back with her celebrations.

Brooks made two posts on her Instagram page showing the cute celebrant clad in a white top and red tutu skirt. She also wore a red band on her head, which had "Birthday Girl" written on it.

In the first post, Freeya was busy checking out some of the gifts she received on her big day. The post's caption saw Brooks thanking her daughter for giving her more purpose, joy, drive, and love.

In the second post, Freeya looked sleepy and seemed to be distracted by something in front of her as she looked intently ahead of her. Brooks captioned the snapshot mimicking her daughter's thoughts. She wrote:

"Mommy, I think I got this 1 year old thing down! ? Sleepy birthday vibes."

Many of Brooks' friends and fans wished her adorable daughter a happy birthday and prayed for her. They also noted the little tot looked incredibly cute in the snapshots.

Brooks welcomed Freeya on November 16, 2019. However, it was not until two months after her birth that the actress revealed her daughter's identity.

The actress had to undergo an emergency C-section to deliver Freeya despite planning on natural childbirth.

Taking to her Instagram page then, Brooks shared a picture of a smiling Freeya clad in a grey long-sleeved top and pants and brown footwear. Beside the baby were blocks that spelled out her age at the time. In the caption to the post, the proud mom introduced her daughter to the world, writing:

"Our heartbeat. Introducing Baby Freeya. ?."

The revelation of her daughter's name came weeks after Brooks got engaged to her boyfriend, whose identity she also kept from the public. However, several publications identified him as Dennis Gelin.

Recently, Brooks has been opening up about how she gave birth to her daughter. The actress had to undergo an emergency C-section to deliver Freeya despite planning on natural childbirth.

While making an appearance on Katie's Crib Podcast, the actress shared how it felt to have given birth for the very first time. She revealed she had to undergo a C-section due to a health complication that risked her and Freeya's health.

The procedure went well despite the difficulty, and out came the adorable Freeya, who is a true gift to her parents and already looks set to take on the world.
