Gwen Stefani Finally Gives a Glimpse at Her Giant Engagement Ring from Fiancé Blake Shelton

In October 2020, country musician Blake Shelton finally did right by his longtime girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, when he went down on one knee to propose marriage. At a recent awards ceremony, fans got to have a glimpse of Stefani’s engagement ring!

Last month, Blake Shelton, 44, proposed to Gwen Stefani, 51, in Oklahoma and she said yes! The couple went on to confirm the news in matching Instagram posts where they were seen sharing a kiss.

Stefani gave her fans a sneak peek of her new engagement ring by holding up her left hand in the image. About a week ago, the “Hollaback Girl” singer’s ring was also visible in a photo she’d taken on “The Voice.”

For those who don’t know, the engaged famous couple are coaches on the newest season of the singing competition. In the Instagram picture, Shelton stood next to his fiancée while she looked taller by standing on a judge’s chair on the set of the musical series.

With her left hand, she held her waist showing off the sparkly gem while balancing her right arm on her fiancé's shoulder. The couple was all smiles as they posed for the studio photo.

On Sunday, the couple went together to the E! People’s Choice Awards. Taking to her Instagram Story, the pop singer gave fans a close-up view of her engagement ring while on the way to the awards.

She revealed in the video selfie that her fiancé would be going inside the venue as he was a nominee. Stefani, who wore a face mask, explained that she was going to stay in the car and wait for him.

Shelton’s fiancée shared that she was staying put because the novel coronavirus disease is still very much a threat. However, she wanted to be close by in case her man won in his category.

In the clip, the pop musician revealed that her engagement ring had a square diamond that appears to have tapered baguettes on either side. According to “Brilliant Earth’s” Kathryn Money, the ring features a six-prong outer setting with a 6-carat solitaire diamond set in a platinum or white gold band.

Money has estimated the jewelry to cost more than $500,000, depending on the quality of the stone. Before Shelton proposed with the custom-made gem, the couple had been together for five years.

Stefani and Shelton started dating in November 2015 when they were both judges on “The Voice.” They initially bonded over their then-recent failed marriages and have been together ever since.

The country musician was previously married to fellow singer Miranda Lambert. Unfortunately, their marriage failed to work out and the pair finalized their divorce in the summer of 2015.

For her part, Stefani was married to Bush singer Gavin Rossdale. Unlike Shelton and Lambert, she and Rossdale had three boys together - Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo Rossdale.
