New Photos Released of Anderson Cooper's Son as People Calls Him 2020's Cutest Baby Alive
On Thursday, “People” magazine had fans thrilled when they shared some photos of Anderson Cooper’s cute little baby boy. The little child also has a fitting accolade attached to him by the publication.
CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper, 53, became a father for the first time when he welcomed his baby boy, Wyatt Morgan on April 27, 2020. The little boy, who was born via a surrogate, recently got a special accolade.
The baby boy was named People's 2020 Cutest Baby Alive, by “People” magazine! The publication also released three photos of the little boy to illustrate why he’d gotten the impressive title.

Before little Wyatt got the title, last year his play-date companion, little Benjamin Allen Cohen, 21-months-old, was the previous titleholder. Benjamin is the son of television personality and Cooper’s best friend, Andy Cohen.
In the first Instagram image shared by “People” magazine, Wyatt was carried by his father in a baby carrier while posing together in a street. The little boy appeared wearing a blue outfit that matched his eyes perfectly.
In the next picture, the baby boy seemed to be in a swing at a park in the same outfit. The only difference was a bee-looking warmer that covered his head and upper body, and a pair of blue and white shoes.
The body warmer featured little black dangly ears and black, white, and yellow eyes that appeared on the clothing item just above Wyatt’s face. Yep, once again, cuteness overload for Cooper fans!
Last but not least, the next photo was a close up of the little boy, who was named after Cooper’s late father. In it, he smiled a toothless gummy smile while wearing a green top that was decorated with dog prints, and blue jeans.
The kiss between Wyatt and Benjamin was the first time the boys seemed to bond properly.
Wyatt, 6-months-old, is being co-parented by Cooper and the television hosts’ former partner Benjamin Maisani, 47. Even though the couple has broken up, the “Anderson Cooper 360°” star still considers him family.
Cooper and his son feature on “People” magazine’s cover story this month, and the publication shared more images of little Wyatt in it. In June 2020, the news anchor featured once again in the publication for their Pride Issue.
He confessed, at the time, that becoming a father as a gay man had become a dream come true for him. Explaining further what fatherhood meant to him, the television personality confessed:
“It feels like my life has actually begun.”
This month, Cohen featured Cooper on his SiriusXM "Radio Andy" show. He admitted to his listeners that “the highlight of his week” was seeing his son kiss Wyatt on the cheek during their latest play-date.
The Bravo star shared how he and Cooper had met up on Saturdays or Sundays to allow the boys to bond during play-dates. The kiss between the two boys was the first time the boys seemed to bond properly.
