Phylicia Rashad's Ex-husband Ahmad's Young Wife Ana Shares Photos with Him on His 71st Birthday

Ahmad Rashad's wife, Ana Luz Rodriguez-Paz, recently took to Instagram to share adorable pictures of her husband alongside sweet notes in celebration of his 71st birthday.

Phylicia Rashad's ex-husband, former NFL player Ahmad Rashad recently turned 71, and as expected, he was met with warm wishes from his wife of four years, Ana Luz Rodriguez-Paz.

Taking to Instagram, Rodriguez-Paz shared a post featuring photos of her and Ahmad. The images saw the couple leaning in towards each other while posing for gorgeous selfies.

In the photos, Ahmad wore a black T-shirt, whereas Rodriguez-Paz donned a black polka dot outfit. The NFL star was seen sporting full beards with his wife also showing off her long blonde hair.

The first two slides saw Rodriguez-Paz and Ahmad smiling at the camera, while the last slide captured the NFL star making a funny face. She accompanied the photos with a caption reading:

Ahmad and Rodriguez-Paz tied the knot in April 2016 in a private ceremony at Palm Beach Garden, Florida. At the time, the NFL player was 66 while his beau was 34, leaving many people shocked about the age gap.

Ahmad's marriage to Rodriguez-Paz is his fifth as the NFL player has previously been married four times. One of his most public marriages was to actress Phylicia Rashad.

The couple was reportedly introduced by Bill Cosby and started dating shortly after. Ahmad would later publicly propose to Phylicia on National TV on 1985's Thanksgiving Day.

By December that year, the couple tied the knot and remained married until 1997, when Phylicia filed for divorce. The divorce process was eventually finalized in 2001.

Despite his past failed marriages, it appears Ahmad has finally gotten a happy ending with his much younger sweetheart. For this couple, age is truly just a number.
