Hudson's first slide revealed a well-decorated Christmas tree, an attractive blue microphone, and a breathtaking view that seemed to be her recording location.
The star's second slide showed her in a black hat, a fur-layered coat with a rather long tail, and brown leather boots. An excited fan commented this about the image:
"You look GLORIOUS????? Can't wait to tune in!"
With a background filled with lush green leaves, the gorgeous beauty held her hat with her right hand as she posed fiercely while sitting on the pavement.
The American actress has had her fair share of trials, especially with the murder of her family in 2008...
A day after the icon's mind-blowing performance, she took to Instagram to post three slide photos from the event. The first slide showed a short clip, revealing Hudson in her beautiful outfit as she sang the popular chorus, "Hallelujah."
Sporting a background that revealed tall buildings and an adorned Christmas tree, the star sang beautifully with her backup singers who were all dressed in white.
Hudson's second and third slides displayed her short talk on the beautiful city of Chicago while she was being prepared by her team and a lovely photo of her looking sideways, respectively.
In her caption, the singer thanked all and sundry for joining her on the show and expressed true appreciation for her team, who made her look lovely and her performance a success.
Thousands of comments stormed her post as fans commented on how much they loved her and her glorious performance through lovely smileys and positive remarks.
Other singers who joined Hudson, bringing on their A-game in capturing the joy of the season, were "American Idol" winner Laine Hardy, and "Frozen's" Caroline Bowman, among many others.
The event is not Hudson's last collaboration for the year as she is working with Mariah Carey on her upcoming holiday special, which involves a number of treasured guests such as Tiffany Haddish, Ariana Grande, and others.
In the spirit of the Christmas festivities, the soundtrack would be set for release on December 4 and the show has a goal to make the world merry.
Although the American actress has had her fair share of trials, especially with the murder of her family in 2008, she has become a symbol of hope and strength to many fans with her soulful music.
