“Deuces” singer Chris Brown’s mother Joyce Hawkins is a devoted mother and grandmother, but as time goes by, she seems to be looking younger and younger, instead of the opposite, and social media is noticing it.

31-year-old singer and actor Chris Brown’s mother Joyce Hawkins is 55, but one could definitely never tell if only considering her looks, and she recently proved once again in social media, that she can easily pass as 20 years younger than her age.

Taking to her Instagram profile on November 24, 2020, Hawkins shared another selfie to flaunt her youthful looks, this time appearing with her dark hair straightened as she reflected about keeping her hair cared.

“My hair!!!!! Is the weave needed? Yes, because it’s a lot to keep up with!!!” Hawkins wrote in the caption to the snapshot on which she wore a striped top with a deep cleavage that also left her toned arms visible.

The post received more than 20,000 likes, but contrary to Hawkins, her fans and followers in the social network didn’t pay much attention to her hair, although many of them had something to say about how young she looked in the image.

“Woooow, she don’t age,” a person exclaimed in the comments section of the post. “Literally reversing in age! Absolutely gorgeous,” another fan agreed. “But you look different in breezys videos… I’m confused,” added a baffled user.

A MAKEUP GURU

Hawkins’ age-defying looks are known to break the internet every now and then, so much that people are already turning to her for makeup advice in order to try to look as glamorous and youthful as she does.

Back in October, Hawkins shared a snapshot of herself in full makeup and wearing wavy hair, and she revealed in the post’s caption that she was getting ready for a publicity shoot, for which she had an entire team to work on her look.

The post caused a stir among Hawkins' fans and followers, and many of them immediately rushed to ask her for her makeup secrets, eager to drink, as she seems to do, from the fountain of youth.

Hawkins hasn’t always looked so far behind her actual age, and it has been only recently, since she underwent a major makeover that involved a considerable weight-loss and a radical change of wardrobe, that she has increased her social media presence.

A DEVOTED GRANDMOTHER

By looking at Hawkins’ selfies of recent, it is easy to forget that she is already twice a grandmother, since her famous son, Brown, is the father of two, to 6-year-old Royalty and 10-month-old Aeko.

But despite all the effort she put into looking much younger than she actually is, Hawkins proudly wears the title of grandmother, and she loves to be there to comfort and to pamper her grandchildren.

Back in March 2020, when the COVID-19 forced the public into a lockdown, Hawkins appeared in a clip coloring a pair of socks with her granddaughter Royalty, who she affectionately calls “Meme.”

Amid all the uncertainty that the pandemic has brought during most of this year that is already approaching its end, it is inspiring to see how thrilled Hawkins is to spend quality time with her grandchildren and keep their hearts filled with joy.
