J Lo, 52, Excited about Selena Quintanilla Series on Netflix 23 Years after Her Iconic Role
Jennifer Lopez is excited about the new "Selena: The Series" drama that is set to drop on Netflix, and she has intimated that she cannot wait to see it as she once played the role of Selena Quintanilla.
In a recent clip that was shared on Instagram by Netflix, promoting their new drama series titled "Selena: The Series," Jeniffer Lopez, popularly known as J.Lo, spoke on her excitement. She said:
"[...]You know playing Selena was kind off like a landmark moment in my career."

Dressed in a fuzzy jacket and turtleneck top, J.Lo looked incredibly beautiful with her sightly made-up face. With her hair pulled to the back in a tight bun and silver earring, she continued by saying:
"I was so excited when I saw the trailer and heard about it. It is a great way for this generation to get to know Selena[…] And I can't wait to see it."
J.Lo expressed that Selena was a big part of her life and her career. She had played the role back in 1997, and the story had followed the life of Selena Quintanilla, a beloved singer and songwriter who was one of the top-selling Latin artists in the 1990s.
J.Lo looked stunning as she tried something completely different from her usual look.
The new series is said to drop on December 4th, and it is going to be in two parts. The series would feature "The Walking Dead" star Christian Serratos playing Selena.
Other members of the cast include Gabriel Chavarria, Ricardo Chavira, Noemi Gonzalez, and Seidy Lopez. The creator and executive producer is Moises Zamora, and he worked closely with the Quintanilla family to tell the story of how Selena rose to fame and was murdered.
The month of November has been a busy one for J.Lo as she had to perform at the American Music Award 2020. She performed alongside other artists like Megan Thee Stallion, Katy Perry. She and Maluma performed the song "Lonely," and she performed "Pa'Ti" as well.
For the special occasion and red carpet of the event, J.Lo looked stunning as she tried something completely different from her usual look. This time, the mother of two turned heads as she arrived with an edgy and short hairdo.
From singing to acting or modeling, J.Lo has over the years proven that she is multi-talented and asides from juggling a busy career, one thing she looks forward to every time is spending time with her twins: Emme and Max and her fiance, Alex Rodriguez, and his kids.
