See Kelly Ripa's Photos from Her Thanksgiving Celebration Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

Television personality Kelly Ripa recently shared some photos of how she celebrated Thanksgiving this year. She and her family got to make some FaceTime calls with their loved ones amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.

On Thursday, Kelly Ripa, 50, and her husband Mark Consuelos spent Thanksgiving with their children. The couple is parents to sons Michael, 23, and Joaquin, 17, and one daughter Lola, 19.

The “Live with Kelly and Ryan” co-host shared several photos from their celebrations on her Instagram account. In the first throwback image, the whole family stood together in a line and smiled while posing for the camera.

The next few photos showed Consuelos on FaceTime calls with his and his wife’s parents. In some of the images, the star’s parents were seen wearing face masks to stay safe from COVID-19.

The couple’s children and their mother appeared in the calls on the top right-hand corner. The television show host also shared several throwback photos from their past Thanksgiving celebrations on her Instagram Story.

Taking to his own Instagram Story, Consuelos shared a photo of himself and his wife posing together on a couch. On Ripa’s original Instagram post, she captioned the images writing:

“#tbt thanksgiving is not like last year, but we’re still grateful that our parents are getting the hang of FaceTime.”

In 2014, the “Riverdale” actor opened up to “HuffPost Live” about how he’d met his wife. Many years ago, Consuelos went to the soap opera "All My Children" to audition for a role.

He was lucky enough to get a screen testing with Ripa who happened to be a series regular. The star recalled how he was mostly concerned about getting the job because he didn’t think the actress would be into him.

The actor confessed to thinking Ripa was adorable, sexy, and hot. He managed to get the role and was cast as the love interest in the television show host’s life, and that’s how they became close.

They eventually started dating in secret and ultimately went public with the romance before eloping to Las Vegas. The couple has been together since and continues to work on their relationship.

Lola, who was born on June 16, 2001, is now a college student. The youngest of the family, Joaquin, was born on February 24, 2003, and he’s the athlete in the family as he plays wrestling.
