EUPHORIC FANS
Many fans couldn’t help but gasp while watching the teaser of the high-anticipated show. One Twitter user who appeared to be a longtime Zendaya fan said she would install an HBO max right away, just to see her favorite actress.
Another user chimed in to remind fellow fans not to spoil or spill any details of the series and added a hilarious GIF at the end. One more Zendaya fan added:
"It’s an early Christmas miracle!!!"
Given that Zendaya made history as the youngest person to win the Emmy for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in "Euphoria," there’s no wonder many fans are eager to watch her performance in the show.
More fans appeared restless because the special episode will be streamed early. One fan who couldn’t contain her happiness commented that she will surely tune in to the series on Friday.
As the series continues to hype up its fans, another Twitter user shared a hilarious picture of what she looked like while waiting for the first special episode to start.
A "BLUE" CHRISTMAS
In its official trailer shared last November, Zendaya’s Rue will have a gloomy Christmas as she longs for friend Jules, played by actress Hunter Schafer.
Rue, whose life is going on a downward spiral, is shown in her signature maroon jacket, as she stares outside a diner window. She reminisces her special moments with Jules who is headed for an opportunity in a big city.
Prior to acting on TV, the Disney Channel star who came from a theatrical family honed her acting skills in theatrical plays.
Zendaya had earlier broken the news to social media that the HBO series will have two special episodes which will air on December 6. She also tweeted an image of her character.
The Emmy-winning actress also teased her fans on Instagram with a close-up snap of an eye with her reflection in it. The caption read, "We really miss them."
"Euphoria" was renewed for a second season in July 2019. Zendaya said they had done their table reads and wardrobe fittings but due to the ongoing pandemic, their production was temporarily halted.
Zendaya continues to reach greater heights in the entertainment industry. Before she received her best actress award at the recently-concluded Emmy Awards, the young star captured many hearts during her groundbreaking role in "Shake It Up."
