Singer Tim McGraw recently cracked fans up on Instagram with a photo of him hanging ornaments on his super high Christmas tree while joking that his wife, Faith Hill, is trying to get rid of him.
Christmas is fast approaching, and as they say, it is the season to be jolly, or according to singer Tim McGraw, it might be the season to get rid of loved ones!
McGraw, who is married to fellow country singer Faith Hill decided that his task to decorate their ceiling-high Christmas tree was no more than a plan to get rid of him before Christmas by none other than his wife.
In a recent Instagram post, the singer showed himself hanging ornaments on his extremely high Christmas tree. He then joked in his caption:
"A: Santa's lead flying reindeer B: wife trying to get rid of me before Christmas."
The photo showed a rather impressive scene of McGraw sitting at the very top of an unbelievably high red ladder. The tree or the potential "Get Rid of Tim setup" was a magnificent thing sitting in a grand hall by large windows.
Adorned with gorgeous shades of red, gold, green, and orange, there was no doubt that McGraw put his best effort into bringing the tree alive.
Clad in a casual home-comfy outfit of sweatpants and a hoodie, McGraw, looked dashing as always. Amused by his humorous caption, the singer's fans and followers gathered in the comments with laughing emojis.
Some shared likes while others praised his work and the beautiful tree. McGraw sure knows how to awaken the Christmas spirit.
McGraw and Hill have what many might refer to as a sweet social media banter relationship. The husband and wife are frequently found making sweet jokes and taking humorous jabs at one another on social media.
[They] have faced many challenges since their October 6, 1996 wedding.
"24 yrs.......These years have rushed by in a series of beautiful, painful and unexpected moments....We have loved, laughed and cried."
The singer gushed over Hill for helping him get through all of his ups and downs while also giving her a special shoutout for her incredibly vital role in raising their three daughters, Audrey, Gracie, and Maggie.
McGraw and Hill, who make one of country music's most loved power couples, have faced many challenges since their October 6, 1996 wedding.
The duo, who have navigated the journey of being musicians and parents, started their love story when they first met at a Nashville gig in late 1994.
At the time, they were both seeing other people, but as fate would have it, they got together. This Christmas makes another one of many that they have spent together.
Now that they have joined the growing list of celebrities showing off their trees, it is safe to say Christmas preparations are in full swing in the Hill-McGraw household.
