'Yellowstone' Ranked No 1 in Nielsen's 2020 Top 'Time-Shifted Programs' — Details Revealed

"Yellowstone" has been ranked as number 1 in Nielsen's list of Top Time Shifted Program for the increased percentage of viewers from time-shifting viewing for 2020.

Nielsen's top 10 list of Tv shows with the most increased in the percentage of viewers for time-shifting viewing for 2020 has Paramount Network's "Yellowstone" ranked as number one.

On Nielsen's website, it discussed that there has been a general increased of 4 minutes of consumption of live and time-shifting television programming in the second quarter of 2020.

The website features other television-related statistics including, The Top Tv Programs of 2020 for Single Telecast which saw various football games at the top, and the Top programs for regularly scheduled which saw football, NCIS, and FBI in the top 3 slots.

"Yellowstone" was ranked number one on The Top Time-Shifted Programs of 2020, which was ranked by the percentage of change in viewers. The show was a 214.8% increase in viewers.

The cast has been filming the fourth season this year, amid the pandemic. The shows co-creator Taylor Sheridan spoke to Deadline and said that they had filmed in Montana on a ranch and during that year,

“So we’ve got the crew and the cast up there, and it’s in an area of the state that has no active [coronavirus] cases now."

Other shows that made the top 10 list were ABC's "Emergence" at the second spot and ABC's "Stumptown" as number 3. "New Amsterdam", "Good Girls" and "Will and Grace" made the list as well.

Most of the TV show's on Nielson's list are broadcast programs that have rating periods for each season which run from September through to May.

The season 3 finale premiere racked in 7.6 million total viewers.

The Instagram account of the ranch where the show is filmed recently shared news of the new season which has been filming all year. It shared a photo of horses in front of the iconic Yellowstone signage.

The caption eluded to when the 4th season will most likely be premiered as well as to announce that filming for the newest season had wrapped, the caption read,

“That’s a wrap on filming season four! Who is excited for the premiere in June?”

The show was co-produced by 101 Studios and has a powerful cast including Kevin Costner. It follows the life of the Dutton Family and their life controlling America's largest contiguous whose borders are under attack.

The season 3 finale premiere racked in 7.6 million total viewers, which is one million more viewers than any episode has received in the history of the show.

for a 4 season in February of 2020, 4 months before the premiere of this 3rd season. The renewal is not surprising given the show's impressive viewership.

In a post to the show's Instagram account, it was announced that filming for season 4 had finished and the account asked fans if they were excited for a premiere in June, so supposedly it will be premiered in June 2021.
