Meghan Trainor and Husband Daryl Sabara Trade Sweet Messages on Their Second Anniversary

This week, singer Meghan Trainor and her husband celebrated their second wedding anniversary. The couple paid tribute to the special day by writing sweet messages to each other on social media.

Meghan Trainor married actor Daryl Sabara, 28, on December 22, 2018. At the time, the couple had kept their ceremony intimate by hosting it in the backyard of their home that was filled with white roses.

The pair knew they were meant for each other after dating for only two years. In October 2020, they thrilled their fans when Trainor appeared virtually on the “Today” show with an announcement.

The "Lips Are Movin" singer revealed that she was pregnant with her and her husband’s first child! This month, the musician also reached two more milestones – her birthday and their wedding anniversary.

December 22, 2020, saw Trainor turning twenty-seven and she and Sabara also celebrated two years of marriage. Taking to her Instagram account, the “All About That Bass” vocalist shared a beautiful photo.

In the image, she posed with her eyes closed while cradling her growing baby bump. Sabara was pictured standing right behind her with his eyes closed, as well, while kissing his wife on the cheek.

He cradled her baby bump from behind in the picture where Trainor wore a blue sweater and matching skirt. The sweater appeared to be a crop top as it exposed her big tummy.

The color of her clothing symbolized that she and her husband were expecting a baby boy. The Grammy Award-winning artist captioned her post wishing the “Spy Kids” actor a happy anniversary, writing:

“Happy anniversary to the love of my life @darylsabara ..Thank you for giving me the best gift ever…”

Sabara also took to his own Instagram account to wish his wife a happy birthday and a happy anniversary. He called her the most beautiful woman in the world before adding:

“You are the love of my life and I know you will be the best mom to our baby…”

His post included the same photo of Trainor but this time she was alone and looked right at the camera. In 2018, the “Dear Future Husband” singer already knew that she was ready to become a mother.

Meghan Trainor made the decision after finding out she had gestational diabetes.

Speaking to “People” magazine, she confessed that if they could have things their way; they would’ve been pregnant already. The interview happened before the couple got married.

The couple’s child is due in early February 2021. Her pregnancy has been quite challenging for Trainor because of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease that has made interacting difficult.

During a November 2020 interview on “Lorraine,” she revealed that she had canceled her Thanksgiving celebrations for the year. She made the decision after finding out she had gestational diabetes.
