Here's How Much Weight Blake Shelton Vows to Lose Ahead of Wedding with Fiancée Gwen Stefani
Blake Shelton recently complained about his quarantine weight gain and announced on the Luke Bryant Show that he has vowed to lose 20lbs ahead of his wedding to longtime girlfriend, Gwen Stefani.
Blake Shelton joked that he had put on 117 pounds self-isolating at home with Stefani on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" and then made a pledge on Bryant's "Party Barn Radio" interview to lose weight before their wedding.
Shelton, who recently proposed to Stefani, had to answer Bryant with a number on a scale of 1 - 10 on the chances of him losing 20lbs, to which Shelton answered, 10, as a public promise to his fans to hit his goal.

Shelton, 44, and Stefani, 51, have been dating since 2015. The pair broke the news of their engagement in October 2020. Stefani reports that the engagement came as a complete surprise.
Stefani confirmed that she and Sheldon always discussed the topic of marriage, but the question caught her off guard. Stefani said that Sheldon asked her father for permission two weeks before getting down on one knee.
"Didn't have any idea, nobody knew, I think he had told my dad on my birthday about two weeks earlier."
Before their relationship, Stefani and Shelton have been in previous marriages. Stefani was married to Gavin Rossdale, with whom she shares three children, while Shelton has been married twice before.
Shelton and Stefani have been self-isolating in Shelton's Oklahoma home, but, according to US Weekly, the pair has moved into a Los Angeles mansion where Stefani will help her children as they start school online.
Stefani has noted that the pair wish to get married once social distancing guidelines have lifted.
Shelton is not enjoying the change in his appearance that he claims happened during self-isolation. Shelton has now taken avoiding his appearance to extremes by changing the angle of the mirrors in the house.
Shelton told Ellen that his hair has also changed from its salt and pepper stage to just salt. Shelton seemed shocked that despite making numerous television appearances, he had not noticed the change saying:
“I’m on television all the time, I’m on a show. How do I not see that I look like a game show host all of a sudden?”
Shelton joins a growing list of celebrities who have gained weight during self-isolation. With the pandemic keeping star's in their homes, the weight has ruthlessly crept on to some of Hollywood's favorites.
From reality stars, actors, and actresses to TV personalities, fans have begun spotting self-isolation weight gain. However, the stars have taken the change in their stride, with some already cutting back the weight.
While there are no confirmed plans for the wedding, Stefani has noted that the pair wish to get married once social distancing guidelines have lifted. Shelton also hilariously turned down Bryant's request to be a groomsman.
While fans anticipate wedding bells, Stefani is helping Shelton adjust to his new appearance. Shelton has allowed Stefani to dye his hair even if the results are not as stellar. To Shelton, Stefani's happiness is more important.
