Alex Rodriguez Gushes over Fiancée Jennifer Lopez for Her Performance on Inauguration Day
Alex Rodriguez has high praise for his fiancée, Jennifer Lopez, following her performance at President Joe Biden's Inauguration last week. The former athlete also shares where his wedding plans to the Latina songstress stand.
Alex Rodriguez penned a beautiful message to his fiancée, Jennifer Lopez, on Sunday, showing how proud he was of her recent achievements after her Presidential Inauguration performance.
Taking to Instagram, Rodriguez shared a photo of Lopez showing him her sheet music, which he said solidified her lyrics' significance, where she sang "One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all," in Spanish.

The former baseball star commended Lopez for her patriotism, describing her achievement as historic and groundbreaking. He called it a privilege to have been able to witness the iconic moment, as he wrote in his caption:
"Can you believe she was the first person to sing in Spanish at an inaugural event?"
The major league baseball analyst concluded his post by calling the 51-year-old talent one of the hardest working and most focused professionals he had ever seen.
Lopez delivered an unforgettable medley for the swearing-in ceremony, where she began with Woody Guthrie's "This Is Your Land." before switching into "America The Beautiful."
Lopez treated fans to an incredible throwback to her second album, "JLo," to mark the 20th anniversary of the release.
After delivering the Spanish translation, the "Pa Ti" singer worked in the infamous "Let's Get Loud" lyric before closing off with a few more notes from "America The Beautiful."
As far as wedding planning is concerned, Lopez previously spoke about having to cancel plans for their nuptial not once but twice, following interruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic. Lopez later added:
"We just feel like, let's just wait it out. There's no rush. It will happen when the time is right."
Jimmy Fallon asked Rodriguez whether 2021 would finally be the right time, to which Rodriguez responded that the third attempt could be the lucky charm, as he remained hopeful the pandemic won't get in the way of their plans this time around.
Over the weekend, Lopez treated fans to an incredible throwback to her second album, "JLo," to mark the 20th anniversary of the release. She recreated the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" video, wearing a t-shirt with her stunning face on it on the beach.
The mom of two accompanied her throwback with a message expressing her gratitude to the fans. She gave recognition for supporting her career throughout the decades and carrying her through the tough times.
The former New York Yankees player has shared much deserved praise for his superstar fiancée. Over the past year, Lopez headlined the Super Bowl in 2020 and performed at the "New Year's Rockin' Eve" event.
Her most memorable performance was undoubtedly the Inaugural performance in Washington D.C., which according to Rodriguez, had made Lopez feel incredibly nervous, given the weight of the responsibility she felt to do it perfectly.
