"Sister, Sister" star Marques Houston went twinning with his 19-year-old wife Miya in trendy tie-dyed outfits and the internet is loving the look. Check it out!
"Sister, Sister" star Marques Houston and his young wife Miya are couple goals! The duo just cannot get enough each other, which is working well to their fans' advantage since they often share cute pictures on Instagram.
A recent post by Houston saw him and Miya turning up the love as they drove in their car while flaunting matching dusty pink tie-dyed sweatshirts. They could not look more cute!
Miya's thick braids framed one side of her face as she rested her pretty face upon her hand. Her face was aglow when those lip gloss-daubed lips curved into the most subtle smile.
Houston's smile was subtle like his wife's. Wearing a rugged beige cap, he titled his head towards the camera. "We love matching and taking car selfies," the actor captioned the post with a "Don't Hate" hashtag.
In the comments section, their fans gushed about the picture, saying that they looked amazing together. "Love conquers all things...," one fan wrote. "You guys are super cute," another one gushed.
He assured his fans that his love for her was pure and devoid of any scandal.
After Houston got engaged to Miya, many fans had been critical about it — they said she was too young for the 39-year-old. In an attempt to quash the controversy, he penned a lengthy Instagram post on June 17, 2020.
"Miya and I didn’t start dating until she was an adult. We fell in love and got engaged in March of 2019."
The actor also clarified that he did not meet her on the set of one of his films. They first met through a mutual friend in 2018 at a Jehovah’s Witness convention. She was not an adult back then.
Houston gushed about how his family and loved ones adore Miya before adding that none of the rumors about them were true. He assured his fans that his love for her was pure and devoid of any scandal.
Ending his lengthy caption with a thank you note to those who support him, Houston advised people should be more focused on more serious things like their health amid the pandemic rather than rumors.
