The source further explained that Kardashian filing for divorce from West is just a formality. According to the insider, the couple's marriage has been over for a while, and they have been amicable for quite some time.
WEST SPOTTED AFTER DIVORCE NEWS
Meanwhile, since his wife filed, West was spotted for the first time on Tuesday without his wedding ring while visiting his Yeezy Academy in LA. The record producer was accompanied by several bodyguards and his youngest son Psalm.
According to the publication, days prior, Kardashian was also spotted out and about. Like her spouse, she too opted not to wear her wedding ring and engagement ring.
KARDASHIAN BREAKS SOCIAL MEDIA SILENCE
Following her filing for divorce, she finally broke her social media silence. The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star took to Instagram to celebrate her best friend Jonathan Cheban’s birthday on Sunday.
According to Buzzfeed, some of the Kardashians gathered at Kris Jenner’s Palm Springs home for the celebration, with the Skims founder documenting the event. She reportedly seemed in high spirits despite divorce news.
WHAT LED TO THE DIVORCE?
According to Entertainment Tonight, the 40-year-old had reached her breaking point in her marriage with the 43-year-old Atlanta native since July. A source shared:
“Kim has been over Kanye in a romantic sense for a while but loves him as the father of their kids and doesn’t want to embarrass or hurt him.”
According to the insider, Kardashian’s last attempt to make their relationship work was when she flew to Wyoming that month and was seen crying in the car with him. After that, she knew that she had to end things for good.
Kardashian visited West at their Wyoming ranch after his controversial political rally in South Carolina, and his Twitter claims that his wife and mother-in-law were trying to lock him up. The pair were photographed having an emotional conversation in their car.
According to the source, that was the last draw for West. Kardashian reportedly takes her career, image, and businesses very seriously and keeps all that in mind with her relationships. West's actions have affected all aspects of her life.
