Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have decided on their strained marital life, and now that they plan on visiting the divorce court, Kardashian made sure to inform their oldest child, North.
A close source to her family shared with Hollywood Life that Kardashian took out some alone time with North, where she broke down the situation in bits, and kept the young girl informed of her and West's divorce.

It is safe to say that North, 7, was quite aware that her parents had not been living together for a while. The insider noted that the couple was apart for most of 2020.
Through it all, Kardashian is reportedly investing time and energy in her well-being and that of her four kids amid the divorce process. The star officially filed for divorce last week, citing irreconcilable differences.
So far, she has been staying with her celebrity family members and her kids. The beauty mogul who reportedly put a hold on her work has been getting the needed support from her family.
An insider recently revealed that [Kardashian] is gearing towards moving on and healing.
An insider shared that although Kardashian, 40, and West, 42, were amicable, she was quite disappointed that they could not work things out. She has reportedly been feeling down about it.
In months leading to her divorce announcement, Kardashian seemed to try to make her marriage work and protect her children, however, the source noted that she was not happy that West did not work towards making things better.
Although things appeared to simmer down a bit when the couple went on a family vacation, the resolution did not last. Presently, Kardashian is working with top-notch celebrity lawyer Laura Wasser concerning the separation.
An insider recently revealed that the mom-of-four is gearing towards moving on and healing, adding that the SKIMS founder felt a weight was lifted off her shoulders after filing for divorce.
The source noted that it would take some time to adjust to the new normal but was willing to move on. The star was said to have requested joint legal and physical custody of her and West's children, which he agreed to.
The couple's marriage hit a rough patch following some of the award-winning rapper's media sentiments and meltdown when he made some controversial statements about their marriage.
Other series of events had to do with his South Carolina presidential campaign and some declarations about his wife's family members. Sources noted that all of these were the breaking point in their union.
