Oliver Hudson Is So Grateful for These 4 Women in His Family — Who Are They?
“Rules of Engagement” star Oliver Hudson had a moment to appreciate the four most important women in his life one day after the world celebrated International Woman’s Day on March 8.
44-year-old actor Oliver Hudson looked at the women closest to him and his heart to show his appreciation for all women in observance of International Woman’s Day, even if his post came a day later.
On March 9, 2021, Oliver took to his Instagram account to post two photos as he gushed about the “three women and one little angel” in his family that he values the most, and without whom, he says, he wouldn’t know what would become of him.

The first of two slides in Oliver’s post-show his wife, actress Erinn Bartlett, and their 7-year-old daughter Rio, with the mother and daughter photographed at home in a loving embrace.
The second slide, a photo taken outside on a snowy day, shows Oliver’s mother, 75-year-old actress Goldie Hawn, and his sister, 41-year-old actress Kate Hudson, also side-hugging and donning big smiles.
Oliver accompanied the post with a long caption on which he acknowledged Bartlett, Rio, Hawn, and Kate, for giving him the motivation to always be his best self, even if sometimes he shows resistance. He wrote:
“They’re constantly giving me pep talks and supplements, skincare routines and books on the liver, dry brushes and psychics, bone broth and money.”

The post was well-received among Oliver’s many fans and followers on social media. It received more than 36,000 likes in the first 24 hours of its publication, apart from positive comments from users.
“They take good care of you!!! Bravo to them,” wrote a fan. “I wish someone gave me bone broth and money,” wrote another. “You need your wife on here more!” advised a third person.
ACKNOWLEDGING HIS ADVICE
Just as Oliver thanked his younger sister Kate’s advice, Kate has also publicly acknowledged the important piece of parenting advice that Oliver once gave her, with the actress recently mentioning this to People magazine.
In March 2021, Kate revealed to the news outlet that she learned the importance of prioritizing couple’s time after becoming parents, and she said that before the pandemic, she was happy to babysit for Oliver and Bartlett to allow them.
"They like to go have fun together and remind each other how much fun they have, just the two of them. And they do it at least once a month," Kate said, joking about this being the only thing to model after her older brother.
In addition to daughter Rio, Oliver and Bartlett, his wife of 14 years, share son Bodhi Hawn, 10, Wilder Brooks, 13. Kate, on the other hand, is mother to sons Ryder, 17, and Bingham, 9, and daughter Rani Rose, 2.
