Kimora Lee Simmons' Daughter Ming Admits She Misses Dad Russell as She Shares a Sweet TBT Snap

Kimora Lee Simmons' daughter Ming Lee Simmons shared an old picture of a man she has been missing for quite a while. Take a look at her Instagram Story.

Ming Lee Simmons, Kimora Lee Simmons' daughter, recently reminisced her sweet time with her father, Russell Simmons. Her mother and the record executive were separated several years ago.

On Instagram Story, the 21-year-old model shared an old photo of herself with the former Def Jam Recordings co-founder. She took the picture two years ago.

Ming wore a white top in her picture and adorably pouted her lips, while Russell smiled beside her. She outlined her photo with a heart and wrote:

"Miss you dearly, @unclerush."

It seems the 63-year-old Rush Communications CEO has yet to reconnect with his eldest daughter. Ming's photo specified that it dated back to March 18, 2019.

In 2006, Russell and Kimora separated, and two years later, Ming's model mother decided to divorce her father, citing irreconcilable differences.

Additionally, Kimora also requested legal and physical custody of their daughters. Aside from Ming, the former couple shares 18-year-old daughter Aoki.

The 45-year-old TV show personality and Russell finalized their divorce in 2009. Russell previously stated that he and his ex-wife would continue co-parenting their children.

In 2018, Russell was accused of sexual misconduct by eleven women. The incidents allegedly happened in the 1990s before his 1998 marriage to Kimora.

With the assistance of Ming and Aoki, Kimora made the expansion after relaunching the brand in 2019.

However, the "Beauty Shop" star defended her ex-husband and denied all their allegations. Kimora described Russell as a caring and supportive father.

After Russell, Kimora re-married to investment banker Tim Liessner in 2013. The couple shares a five-year-old son Wolf who is now Ming and Aoki's half-brother.

Nowadays, Kimora has been focused on revamping her '90s brand Baby Phat. The iconic brand released Shimmer Dreams last September, its first-ever beauty line.

With the assistance of Ming and Aoki, Kimora made the expansion after relaunching the brand in 2019. The renowned entrepreneur assured that their future skincare and makeup would focus on inclusivity.
