Legendary singer Elton John gave fans a glimpse of his recent 74th birthday celebration, and according to him, it was the best birthday ever, with his family by his side.

Elton John is 74! The legendary singer reached the milestone on Thursday, March 25, and in true superstar style, he specially celebrated his big day with his loved ones close.
Taking to Instagram, John shared a photo of himself holding a knife while cutting into a cake shaped into 74, decorated with fruit toppings and beautifully laid out on a floral printed tray.

The singer donned a lovely Gucci T-shirt and his signature tinted glasses while wearing his brunette locks in his regular pixie cut hairstyle. With a slight smile on his face, he posed for the camera. Captioning the images, the singer wrote:
"Having the best birthday ever with my 3 wonderful boys. What could be better??"

John's picture appeared to have been shot in a playroom as several colorful toys and shelves full of books could be seen behind him. His two young sons, Zachary and Elijah, were also featured in the background.

Apart from celebrating his big day with a heartwarming social media post, John gave his fans a sweet present.

Though John is a father to only two sons, the third boy refers to his husband, David Furnish, whom he has been in a relationship with since 1993. The pair, however, only got married in 2014.
Shortly after sharing the sweet birthday post, fans and followers took to the comments section, wishing the legendary singer a happy birthday and sending their well-wishes across.

In addition to his fans' sweet comments, John was also met with tributes from his husband and many other Hollywood stars, including former supermodel Victoria Beckham.
