'Sister, Sister' Star Marques Houston Shows 1st Memorial Evening with 19-Year-Old Wife Miya

TV star Marques Houston was all about his wife, Miya Dickey, in new media updates celebrating their first memorial evening together, where they warmed up most romantically.

"Sister, Sister" actor Marques Houston put up lovely photos of himself and his beautiful wife, Miya Dickey, celebrating their first memorial evening together in grand style.

The couple was a lovely duo dressed in chic attires and cozying up for several romantic shots. The first slide showed them posing outdoors, holding hands, and sharing bright smiles.

Houston, 39, donned a beige suit complete with shiny back shoes, while his perfect haircut defined his diamond-shaped face. His wife wore an all-black outfit that included a sheer floor-length dress worn over a shorter one.

The other photos were taken indoors, showing them posing for mirror selfies. Dickey, 19, completed her look with a pair of black boots that stopped short of her knees, wearing her hair in a tumble of waves. Houston captioned:

"Such a beautiful memorial this evening. Very special because it was the first memorial for @iammiyahouston and I as husband and wife…"

Last August, Houston was in the news when it was announced that he had tied the knot with Dickey. They said their vows in an ultra-private ceremony at Eagle Glen Golf Club in Corona, California.

The former child star took to his Instagram page, gushing over his new status and praising his new wife. Houston noted that everything felt perfect as Dickey walked towards him.

Houston, an IMx band member, opened up on how he met Dickey in 2018.

The TV star admitted to crying happy tears when he saw his wife despite fighting back emotions. Music star Major graced the occasion singing one of Dickey's favorite songs, "Why I Love You," from his collection.

Following news of his engagement to the 19-year-old, Houston went under scrutiny as many fans weighed in on the 20-year age difference between them. He wasted no time defending their love.

Houston, an IMx band member, opened up on how he met Dickey in 2018 and started dating before proposing to her in 2019. The pair were said to have met at a Jehovah's Witness convention.

Before meeting Dickey, Houston was involved in some spotlight relationships. He dated music star Mila J, the older sister of Jhene Aiko. Houston's game goes as far back as the '90s when he was a regular on "Sister, Sister."

Besides being on TV and making music, the 39-year-old has also worked behind the scenes as a producer and writer on many movies and TV series. Houston largely enjoys writing for other artists.
