Jennifer Hudson Spent Easter with Her Son — See a Sweet Snap of Them Posing Together

Singer and actress Jennifer Hudson spent her Easter celebrations with her 11-year-old son, David Jr. Take a look at the photos she shared to show her fans what they were up to!

Nothing makes celebrations a happier affair than spending time with loved ones. For Jennifer Hudson this Easter, that meant bunkering down with her 11-year-old son, David Jr., She wrote on Twitter:

"Happy Resurrection day from me and my Munch! My first solo was on my favorite holiday 'Easter' it was 'Must Jesus bear the cross alone'!"

The sweet tweet and declaration of joy and fulfillment came with the sweetest pictures through which Hudson gave fans a glimpse of what Resurrection Day looked like for her family.

In one photo, she sat to pose with her adorable son, David. Clad in a short tie-dye shirt that flaunted her fabulous legs and skin, the singing sensation looked beautiful.

Beside her, David wore a red tank top with a pair of red shorts. He completed the look with white socks underneath vibrant multicolored Crocs. Between them was their adorable white dog, while to the side was their brown dog.

Hudson and her son made a dreamy duo, and the cute pictures touched her fans. Many left comments, gushing over the mother and son while wishing her Happy Resurrection Day.

At his young age, David has already shown his mom and everyone else that he has the gifts to follow in her footsteps.

Hudson and her son share a sweet and enviable mother-son bond. The young boy is often seen in her social media updates, and avid J Hud fans know just how much she loves him to bits.

In August 2020, when he turned 11, the doting mom went all out to celebrate her little boy. Despite being in the middle of a pandemic, the singer threw an exceptional D-11 themed party. She then wrote on Instagram:

"I ain't gone [sic] ever stop celebrating you, my baby. You will never forget a bday on my watch."

At his young age, David has already shown his mom and everyone else that he has the gifts to follow in her footsteps. In 2018, the superstar revealed that her boy did not waste time showing interest in music.

Just like his mother did as an infant, David loves music and doesn't hesitate to show it. However, as exciting that has been for the singer, she emphasized that she would not push just yet. She wants him to be his own person and decide what he wants to do and who he takes after.

Since welcoming her son in 2009, the Oscar winner has had plenty of positive things to say about her motherhood. She shares her precious son with her ex-fiance, actor, and lawyer David Otunga. The pair were engaged for almost a decade, but things did not work out in the end.

In 2017, they started a 2-year long custody battle over David Jr., until 2019 when they finally came to an agreement. Today, Hudson is grateful for being able to raise and spend so much time with her son. Come Easter and every other day, Hudson will continue to love him unconditionally.
