James showed that he was as invested in parenthood as the mother of his child in the same year after he ditched a multi-million-pound deal to be by his wife's side towards her third trimester.

He and his former wife welcomed their son, Brendan McAvoy, in 2010 and pretty much kept details of his birth under wraps. Once when asked about his child, the actor declined from speaking about him, making it known that he preferred privacy.
