The Oscars DJ played "Da Butt" by Experience Unlimited, and to the surprise of Howery and other stars, Close knew exactly what song it was. The "Fatal Attraction" star soon gave detailed information about the tune, saying:

"Wait a second... I know, that's 'Da Butt!' [It] was a classic song by the great Washington, D.C., go-go band E.U."

Close downloaded more info about the hit song, recalling that it was written for Spike Lee's 1988 movie, "School Daze." After blowing the audience away with her knowledge, Close took it to another level and did the "Da Butt" dance.
