A-list rapper Megan Thee Stallion duly honored her late mom and rapper Holly-Wood in her latest media post, as she celebrated her posthumous birthday.
Megan Thee Stallion's recent post on her Instagram page was a touching tribute in honor of her late mom, Holly Thomas' posthumous birthday. The star shared a photo that reflected their uncanny resemblance.
Megan's post included a cherished mother-daughter image where she and Holly heartily posed in a delightful moment. In the throwback post, Holly stood in front of the camera with a big smile.

She rocked a cowl-neck blouse, leaving her jet-black curls down and ruffled. Any fan viewing the post would immediately notice that Megan got her smile from the late rapper.
The award-winning rapper stood behind her mom at the far end of the photo as she seemed to have posed for the picture in a sweet moment. Megan captioned her post:
"we miss you every day happy birthday mama?."
It is safe to say that late Holly's influence on her daughter's music career cannot be overemphasized. Once in an interview, Megan recalled watching Holly pen her lyrics and deliver at the studio.
The young Megan was fascinated by her mom and thought she was the strongest person she knew. In no time, the now versatile rapper started learning the ropes from Holly.
The 26-year-old made it known that Holly saw her begin college, and she would love to complete her studies to make the late rapper proud.
However, there was a tragic turn just as Megan got her big break. Holly, who had been managing her daughter's career, was said to have lost her life to a cancerous brain tumor.
Last year, Megan opened up about juggling her rap career with school. While the star keeps thriving in her career, she still makes sure to create time for her academics. This is so because she made a pact to complete her university education to make Holly proud.

Growing up, the youngster was solely raised by Holly. This was so because her dad was in jail and Megan watched her mom run day-to-day family life until her dad was released.
When her dad got out of jail, he went back home, and Megan once shared that the biggest lesson she learned from him was not to settle for less in a relationship. Megan's dad died when she was fifteen years old.
