Martin Lawrence's ex-wife, Shamicka Gibbs, updated her media with a stunning snapshot of herself while posing indoors and enjoying some leisure moments.

Martin Lawrence's former partner Shamicka Gibbs showed fans how to slay while rocking a casual look in her recent Instagram update. She shared a selfie that showed her lounging indoors.

The star's healthy complexion was on display, and it perfectly fit the bright red lipstick she wore. She sported a camouflage shirt that slightly revealed the black strap of her underwear.

Gibbs rocked an enchanting makeup look that included feathery falsies, well-arched eyebrows, and some defining highlights on her face. She let her brunette hair fall down one shoulder. She captioned:

Gibbs was married to Lawrence from 2010 to 2012, but before walking down the aisle, they were lovers for fifteen years with two daughters, Iyanna Faith and Amara Trinity.

Lawrence and the mother of his daughters were in the news in 2010 for their intimate but splendid wedding ceremony that took place at his Beverly Hills mansion.

Lawrence noted that he rewards them for good work and shows the consequences when they go wrong.

The couple exchanged their vows in the backyard in the presence of 120 guests that included stars like Eddie Murphy and Denzel Washington. The event designer, Diann Valentine, did a fantastic job of setting a transverse buffet table for the couple and their guests.

However, Gibbs and her ex-husband headed for the divorce court two years later, making it known that their separation was a mutual decision. The former couple mentioned in a statement that they would remain friends while raising their daughters.

Lawrence's marriage to Gibbs is not a first. The A-list comedian was earlier married to the ex-beauty queen, Patricia Southall. They were together from 1995 to 1997.

He and Southall are parents to Jasmin, who is now a young adult. While he might not be steeled in the marriage aspect, Lawrence has proven to be a great dad.

The star once shared in an interview that although his girls were raised with affluence, he taught them strong values. The dad shared that he would often compare how he was raised to give them insights.
